My fishing was a total disaster, I never managed to land a single fish to my keepnet. My luck was far away from anywhere near me !!! I was very un-lucky on the day because I could not attend the venue as I had to work, work and work. So I had to miss the venue Sad

O.K.. Let's hear your excuse why you did NOT win ?? Think you have a better excuse than mine ?? let's hear it dude! Wink

Well I think I have the best excuse for not winning, "I WASN'T EVEN FISHING, I WAS MARSHALL"

first of all a big thums up to the committee efforts that we got a new venue to fish. The idea was brilliant of fishing a non fished zone!
Me and Nathaniel managed a 2kg total of gharajjes and other small fish!
the place was great and we got some marspan in the 200gm range. Got 3 big bites but the line broke. I suspect it was some nice sized marspan!
We ended up with a 5point section win which is the most important after all!
keep it up KSFA and hope we get such interesting places to fish in future matches.

Hello PPl,

First of all I need to change my username cause il-pres is now My friend Charles Caruana.

I am finally back from fairyland. My 1 month old new baby took all my limited free time. ANYWAY i cannot complain because during my last match at Manoel Island I really had a good time. I think me and my new teammate will give others a hard time this year. We really caught a lot of fish from breams to parrotfish. A 4.3 Kg catch, if one looks at past catches for Manoel Island is a record. We haven't been fishing there for 5 years and i think that everyone had fun.

I will try to keep you updated with my catches since I am planning to go fishing more frequently now that i will have an extra hour of daylight.
