Hello Everyone,

I am really glad to have our website running. The Kingfisher Sport Fishing Association has been running for more than 11 years and after a very good website and a lot of interest shown in our guest diary, we have with the help of Navrix started this forum.

As most of our members know the aim of Kingfisher has always been to try and educate new hobbyists to conservation. There is a basic difference between fishing as a hobby and fishing as a sport. That is mainly the conservation aspect. The fish stocks around our Island have reduced drastically with time. The problems of overfishing and pollution have been felt by most anglers. Without worrying to extremes, we need to safeguard what we have in a sustainable manner.

My final Stetment is FISH FOR FUN BUT RELEASE BACK THE FISH.
